Prepare a learning space
Use a stable board with good visibility. Set aside a few pieces for practice and remove distractions. The homepage artwork illustrates the equipment, not the official opening arrangement.
Understand the action
Strike the striker with a finger; do not push it. Practise a gentle release before adding a target.
A first practice sequence
Try a straight shot, pause and reset the same position. Notice the line of travel and change only one element on the next attempt.

After practice, explain one thing you learned and one question you still have. Refer to the rules page used by your group.
