Start with a baseline
Choose one comfortable position and one nearby target. Take five gentle attempts. Record where the striker travelled, not just whether the target dropped.
Change one variable
Repeat with a small adjustment to aim or force. Keeping everything else similar makes it easier to interpret what happened.
Explore a rebound
Use a sparse practice layout. Predict the path, try it, then compare the actual rebound with your sketch. Treat the sketch as a learning aid, not an exact physics model.
End with a note
Write one observation and one next step. Short, focused sessions are easier to review than a long series of unrelated shots.
